An Interim Council of Conduct will be appointed by EURid in order to put the Code of Conduct into effect. In principle, the members of this Interim Council will be chosen from registrars that presented themselves as candidates to sit on the Council of Conduct after a public call for candidates. Registrars can submit their candidacy until March 5th. On that date the members will be appointed by EURid, and the list of Council of Conduct members will be published on the CoC-website around that date.
The Interim Council will proceed with the election by lottery of the members of the Definite Council of Conduct, and 8 (eight) reserve members. The election by lottery will be held at the ICANN meeting venue in Lisbon on Thursday March 29th 2007. The Interim council will be dismissed on that date.
